In an address to the nation President Obama announced that Osama bin Laden leader of the Al Queda terror network was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The president stated that the US acted on intelligence of a possible siting in the upscale Paskitani neighborhood. Based on the time sensitivity of the information the decision was made to approve a team of special ops Navy Seals to go in and eliminate Bin Laden.
